wheat grass drinks for nutrition

In order to get fit and healthy so you can avoid getting sick, I want to give you some basic guidlines to follow. By following these guidelines, you will strengthen your immune system so your body will be able to fight off any disease and sickness that tries to attack it, even the "common" cold viruses and germs that are airborne. You don't need to "catch a cold" simply because "it's going around" and everyone around you is getting sick.

Remember: It takes time for your immune system to build up, so don't expect overnight results. Just stay on the health and fitness path and one day, in the not too distant future, you will reap the rewards and be able to say, like me, that you have a strong immune system and can ward off any sickness and disease that comes your way. Don't accept sickness as part of life, even if it runs in your family. You CAN avoid getting sick, contrary to common belief.

We are made up of trillions of cells, so it stands to reason that in order to be healthy we need to take care of those cells. In order take care of our cells, we need to give them the nutrients that they need and we need to keep them free of toxins, it's as simple as that. So, how do we go about doing this?

FIrst of all, let's talk about giving our cells the nutrients they need. Our soil has been depleted of many vital nutrients because of all the synthetic pesticides and other things that are put into it. It doesn't take a degree in science to realize that if there aren't many nutrients in the soil, there won't be many nutrients in the fruits and vegetables that are growing in it. So, we need to try to concentrate on eating organic foods for the most part since these are going to have more nutrients because they were grown in soil that hasn't been sprayed with pesticides and fungicides. The ground will have more nutrients, and so therefore, the foods grown on it will also be more nutritious.

It's also important to supplement our diet with a good quality whole-food supplement. Most of the supplements offered at our local stores are not worth even the $5 that they ask for. Your body will not absorb the vitamins and minerals because they are so synthetically made. It's best to get the nutrients from foods and supplements that are made from these foods. So why bother even purchasing them??

Next, let's talk about keeping our cells free from toxins. Our environment is highly toxic. But not only the is the air we breathe toxic for us, also many of the products that we use on our bodies are filled with toxic ingredients. Our skin absorbs everything that we put on it, so it's very important to choose products that are not filled with toxins. It's important to choose products that will actually nourish our skin. What we put ON our skin, will go INTO our bodies, so choose wisely.

We also need to keep our liver and our colon in tip-top shape. These organs basically take care of our body's plumbing . If they are working well, then we can eliminate the toxins a lot more readily. Once the toxins are eliminated, our bodies can actually absorb the nutrients that they take in much more readily. So, make sure you cleanse your liver and colon once or twice a year and eat foods that will help it maintain it's cleanliness in between cleanings. Think of it this way. We go for a deep cleaning at the dental office once or twice a year, but we can't just rely on that to keep our teeth and gums healthy. We need to actually brush our teeth, and floss, every day in order to maintain good oral health. The foods we eat also affect our dental hygiene, so we need to make sure we eat properly.

I want to give you a few other suggestions to help your cells be healthy, and therefore helps your immune system to be strong, which in turn helps you to avoid sickness. It's important to excercise on a regular basis. By doing aerobic and nonaerobic exercise on a daily basis we help our muscles to get strong, and we also strengthen our heart and immune system. Developing good sleep patterns and eliminating as much stress as possible from our live is also very critical for our health. Make sure you get 8-9 hours of sleep every night if you are an adult, and 10-12 if you are a child.

To avoid sickness it's important to live a healthy lifestyle. Feed your body the nutrients it needs, avoid toxins as much as possible by choosing non-toxic products to put in and on your body, exercise on a daily basis, and get enough rest at night. Following these basic guidelines will help you avoid sickness and disease in the future. By having healthy cells and a strong immune system, not even the "common" cold will get you down.

Someone asked me recently whether or not hypnotherapy is good for physical healing of traumamy answer a resounding yes. Truly it is the body which does the healing and truly a relaxed state delved into with the assistance of a professional hypnotherapy session is the ideal place to be before (e.g. surgery) or after a trauma. The relaxing, deepening of the waves of the brain during sleep or hypno-therapeutic trance quicken the healing response. In such a relaxed state certain hormones specific to healing are created by the body. These hormones naturally occur and if their production is quickened through conscious intention during a relaxing hypnotherapy session, then healing times can be reduced.

Hormones created in response to stress can indeed slow healing times and keep us physical victims. A victim hangs onto and identifies with his/her situation and if the body in creating chemicals actually slows the healing response then it too is identifying and perpetuating its own victimhood. Choosing to experience deep relaxation before or after a trauma is to say yes to healing.

Experiencing a hypno-therapeutic session also has an additional powerful benefit with regard to the healing response. In such a deep relaxed state, the conscious thinking mind associated with beta waves (alertness) takes a rest and the deeper more intelligent universal consciousness moves to the forefront. It is here in this state that it becomes extremely effortless to visualize the healing we are experiencing.

To visualize healing light or energy in its various forms and colors is truly one of the most potent forms of healing we humans have at our disposal. In the state of conscious trance this task is so easy, the aura can be visualized and enhanced simply by focusing thought.

Take to heart the wisdom of the body and use the tools given to you to heal, grow and enlighten yourself in this amazing moment of our illumined planet!
